Their work focuses on fostering community resilience by addressing critical needs such as housing stability, resource access, and community support systems. Through collaborative partnerships, Nihikeya’s approach promotes equity and dignity, ultimately strengthening the well-being of underserved families and contributing to the development of sustainable communities.

Sixth World Solutions, an Indigenous-led organization, is dedicated to advancing renewable energy development, energy sovereignty, and sustainable infrastructure across Tribal communities. Their initiatives foster collaborative partnerships that enhance community resilience and promote the design and implementation of clean energy systems that are culturally aligned and community-driven. Through technical expertise and strategic planning, they help build pathways toward long-term energy independence and environmental stewardship, ultimately contributing to the growth of sustainable communities.

One River One Voice is a grassroots, community-driven initiative that fosters collaborative partnerships focused on environmental stewardship, water protection, and advocacy. Their work enhances community resilience by bringing together communities to protect natural resources, promote sustainability, and ensure that future generations have access to clean and healthy ecosystems, ultimately supporting sustainable communities.

The San Juan Collaborative is a community-based initiative that advances public health, community resilience, and resource coordination across the region. Through its Community Health Extension Program (CHEP), it fosters collaborative partnerships that connect individuals and families to essential services, supports health education, and strengthens efforts to build sustainable communities, ultimately improving overall community well-being.

Chizh for Cheii is a grassroots, community-centered initiative focused on fostering community resilience by supporting and uplifting Diné elders (“Cheii”) through acts of service, cultural respect, and community care. Their efforts prioritize meeting essential needs such as food, supplies, and basic support services, while reinforcing the importance of honoring and caring for elders within the community. Through collaborative partnerships, Chizh for Cheii promotes the traditional values of respect, reciprocity, and responsibility, enhancing intergenerational connections and ensuring that elders—who carry significant knowledge, history, and cultural wisdom—are supported with dignity and compassion, ultimately contributing to the creation of sustainable communities.

OROV is a coalition of Upper and Lower Basin Tribes that have come together to form collaborative partnerships, ensuring they have a seat at the table and can raise their voices in the management of the Colorado River as water challenges persist. This collective effort not only enhances community resilience but also supports the development of sustainable communities.
