Purpose Focused founder, JoAnn Armenta before retiring served as Clean Cities Coordinator for Southern California Association of Governments. Many coordinators started up their own 501(c)(3) as a backdrop/back-up to ensure the Department of Energy's EERE Clean Cities Program goals carried on despite funding roller coaster due to several different federal administrations either supported the program and funding it and others wouldn't.
Purpose Focused supports communities committed to serving to bring about positive change. Humanity is experiencing the precipice of change.
